Apart from the tranquility of your charming ‘bure’ with its comfortable bed you may wish to stroll down to the ocean or swimming pool and relax on the sand, in a sun lounge or hammock.  How about time for a totally relaxing Fiji massage?

While the kids are in the kids club, enjoy lazing by the beautiful swimming pool (pool towels provided) all day. After, freshen up for the night in your stylishly appointed bure before joining us for cocktails and dinner under the stars… another perfect day at Castaway.

For guests who prefer something mildly active and interesting, absorb yourself in the culture with a visit to the Shell Village on our neighbouring Chiefly island – a wonderful experience for the whole family.  Why not also take the time to do our Back of House tour to see how innovative technology helps to maintain our pristine island and ensure we uphold our environmental commitment, which has always been of paramount importance to Castaway Island.  Our weekly Marine and Environment presentations are also a wonderful way to discover more about the surrounding waterways and reefs of Castaway Island.

If you would like to learn a little about traditional/cultural activities we offer a medicinal plant/tour/walk, kava mixing demonstration and our ever popular Fijian story telling.

Board games are also available for those who prefer something less energetic.
