Water’s Edge Restaurant - Open for all day dining from 7am.
Sundowner Pizza Restaurant and Sundowner Bar – Open from 11am until 10pm.
Nuku Marau Pool Bar and Grill – Our new poolside dining concept.
Lali Bar - Adjacent to the Water’s Edge Restaurant.
Hi Castaway Family, The Sheedy Family have been coming to Castaway since our two daughters were 5 & 8. They are now 19 and 22.
We love everything about Castaway,including the wonderful food and especially the people. My youngest daughter Katherine has just been diagnosed with Coeliac disease which means she has to cut out all gluten from her diet (OMG not the pizzas!!!!) So I am posting this comment hoping that you will be able to cater for her as we are booked in to return this year after July sometime. Maybe the chef can create a gluten free pizza?????? Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks
Bula Linda! You’re in luck! Our Chef, Lance Seeto, will be your shining star while you’re on island. He’s a veritable expert on all things to do with food allergies. I was here for my honeymoon a few years back and would love to bring my parents and sister here.
My sister has a severe nut allergy and after seeing the previous posts, was wondering if your chef could accomodate that and if her allergies can be taken into account when we purchase the island’s meal plan?
Is it possible to send me some information as well with regards to the different options there are? I really want them to enjoy their stay as much as I did.

Yes, we can certainly cater to people with allergies Kathleen.
You do need to keep in mind that we are on an island, and whilst we have a nurse and medical clinic, we are located minimum 45 minutes from the mainland by boat.
We would suggest that as this is a severe nut allergy that you opt not for the meal plan but discuss with our Executive Chef on arrival on island to ensure meals are prepared specially.
